The new year is a time for celebration and festivities of bringing in the new year and all the hope and blessings that come along with the new year, but also it is a time for looking back and remembering the charrished times we had in the previous year with our loved ones. Don’t forget to thank your loved ones for a great 2019 and make sure to spend some quality time with your friends and family in this upcoming new year.

This is a tradition Sarasota does every year culminating in a Pineapple Drop, coinciding with the 10-second countdown for bringing in the year 2020 with the whole city onlookers and all the confetti that comes with it!

While the pineapple drop is not until Midnight, of course, the party kicks off much earlier.. The festivities begin at 1 pm, there are many things to do that is fun for the whole family, such as amusement park rides, live music, food and drinks concessions, and a steller firework show at the end.. And of course the pineapple drop!
